Attorney Kristen Mason Discusses California's New Laws

This past Sunday evening Criminal Appeals Advocates attorney Kristen Mason was interviewed for a 2025 Town Hall discussing California's new laws that affect prison inmates.
The 45-minute program included questions about new laws redefining murder and attempted murder, the Racial Justice Act that is being used to overturn convictions or modify sentences, the new evidence standard for innocence cases, and various other elements of criminal appeals that have changed in California over the past few years. CAA's Texas attorney, Matt Daher, conducted the interview.
